Austin Summerfest, continuing a Ham Tradition in its 25th Year!August 1st and 2nd| What Is It? | Convention, presentations, and meetings, including civic, technical, and crafts events, and discussions, prizes, exams, and swapfests for amateur-radio operators, aspirants, dealers, and their families. | | Where Is It? | At Austin, in the Wyndham Garden Hotel and Conference Center, Interstate 35 and Woodward Street, 3401 South I-35, Austin, TX. (Facilities, below) | | When Is It? | Friday August 1st (registration 5-6, indoor swapfest 6 to 9 p.m.) and Saturday August 2nd, 2006 (8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.) | | How Much? | $8.00 per person for advance registration, or $10.00 per person at the door. | | What Prizes? | Door prize drawings on Saturday until 1:00. Final prizes at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. | | Facilities? | Accommodations at the Wyndham Garden Hotel and Conference Center can be reserved by calling 1-800-Wyndham. Mention that you are attending the Austin Summerfest Convention and ask for the discount rate of $80 per night for early registrations made by noon on July 20th. | | Facilities? | Meetings and accommodations are at the Wyndham Garden Hotel and Conference Center with Austin Summerfest discount rates for early registration for rooms.
